The Core welcomes first undergraduate students
On Wednesday 28th September, the first undergraduate students of The Core School began their university studies. A milestone in their lives and in that of our institution, which thus fulfilled its objective of launching its first year of life the Degrees in Audiovisual Communication, Journalism and New Media and Marketing and Communication. Two official degrees that are taught with UNIE University as an academic partner and that will be the flagship of the school due to their high academic and experiential level and their connection with the audiovisual industries.
The Dean, Mrs. Mercedes Agüero, was in charge of opening the event with a speech in which she anticipated to the students the fantastic opportunity for growth that they have before them.
The students then enjoyed a session dedicated to the world of content creation led by Verónica Sanz, presenter of La Sexta Noche, Carlos Rabazo, Manager of Acceleration and Digital Transformation at Telefónica and Juan Manuel López Espino, Director of Production and Purchasing at Banijay Iberia.
With the aperitif and the collection of the welcome pack, this emotional meeting came to an end. The story now continues in the classrooms, on the sets and in the workshops. The Entertainment Science Campus has new inhabitants. The story is theirs.
