EAE Business School has once again held its Annual Alumni Reunion with the attendance of around 500 alumni of the business school belonging to Planeta Formación y Universidades, at the Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano (Madrid). More than 100 alumni also followed the event via streaming from their respective countries. The meeting was hosted by the journalist and writer, Marta Robles.

The meeting was attended by prominent professionals, including the CEO of DAZN Spain and former member of the Management Committee of Vodafone Spain, Bosco Aranguren. During his speech, he shared "Authenticity, understanding and balance, along with consistency and proactivity are the necessary ingredients for success. These values have been key in my quest to achieve my goal of being a good leader".

With more than 20 years of experience in marketing, client management and business development, Aranguren offered inspiring insights into his career path, "My first big opportunity at Banco Central Hispano was through a connection, and from there, my career started", highlighting his deep knowledge of the market and his successful track record.

EAE Alumni President and director of Intersafe Iberia (Lyreco) Ramón Abella, was in charge of opening the event, expressing his gratitude to the alumni for being the school's most valuable ambassadors. "The EAE Alumni network offers us a world of possibilities, a ladder made up of resources, specialised training, inspiring events and exceptional talent, which pushes us towards the realisation of our goals, with the opportunity to be educated and connected," shared Abella, underlining the importance of their commitment.

EAE TALKS: DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION, INVESTMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The event also featured two EAE Talks, small motivational talks that the business school has been organising for years. On this occasion, Alejandro Ruiz Lara, former student of the Master in Project Management, and CEO of CHECKTOBUILD, a startup of intelligent supervision of projects through the integration of 3D models, IoT sensors and Artificial Intelligence has starred in the first talk, focused on the main keys to improve the process of entrepreneurship of each business.

"The entrepreneurial process of CHECKTOBUILD has been an invaluable experience for me, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the creation of a project from scratch. In this journey, one of the main keys is to adapt an approach based on anti-fragility, adapting in the face of adversity in order to achieve success. In this process, I have learned that true strength lies in the ability to transform difficulties into opportunities", explained Alejandro Ruiz Lara about CHECKTOBUILD's entrepreneurial process.

Lorena Andrea Zenklussen, CEO of Comprarcasa Spain and member of the EAE Business School Advisory Board, was the protagonist of the second EAE Talks, sharing with the alumni her experience marked by EAE, "The reality of business relationships and networking became a fundamental pillar in my career. With a clear purpose, a method and constant motivation you make meaningful connections that influence your success".

EAE Alumni is an initiative driven by students, alumni, faculty and the business community that works to promote links beyond the classroom among the more than 77,000 students who have studied with us since 1958.
