Colombian students will benefit from the agreement between Planeta Formación y Universidades and Iberia to study in Spain
Planeta Formación y Universidades, the Grupo Planeta's higher education network, has reached an agreement with Iberia, the leading airline connecting Latin America with Spain, with the aim of promoting the mobility of Colombian students. The agreement offers a discount for students travelling from Colombia to the European country to study in the network's educational programmes, which has 22 educational institutions around the world and more than 150,000 students of 100 different nationalities.
This effort, which promotes academic mobility and highlights the importance of creating international educational bridges that promote talent and strengthen the connections between the two countries, will allow students to access a wide range of programmes in more than 10 of the most popular areas of knowledge, including business, technology, education, gastronomy and audiovisuals, taught by the prestigious institutions of the educational network such as EAE Business School, UNIE Universidad, Inesdi Business Techschool, Barcelona Culinary Hub, and The Core - Escuela Superior de Audiovisuales, among others. This diversity of options will allow students to choose the training that best suits their interests and professional goals, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to stand out in an increasingly competitive job market.
‘This alliance reaffirms the commitment of Planeta Formación y Universidades to Colombia, a key country in our strategy of building bridges for the educational and professional development of Colombian students at an international level. Therefore, it is essential to continue promoting benefits and establishing strategic alliances that strengthen the attraction of Colombian talent,’ said Ms. Andrea Pulido, general manager of the international area of Planeta Formación y Universidades.
‘Our purpose as a company is to generate prosperity by connecting people with the world, so promoting the mobility of Colombian students to continue developing their training is at the heart of that purpose that we have set ourselves. That is why we are sure that this alliance will help more young people to benefit from a leading academic experience by making international travel more accessible’, added María Consuelo Fiorentini, Iberia's Country Manager in Colombia.
‘Our goal is to continue promoting international education through exchange and to offer all possible facilities so that Colombian students can access an excellent education in Spain. This alliance with Iberia is another step in that direction’, said Montserrat Civera, Academic Director of Planeta Formación y Universidades.
