Planeta Formación y Universidades and Tecnológico de Monterrey sign a collaboration to promote educational internationalisation
Planeta Formación y Universidades, the Grupo Planeta higher education network, and the Tecnológico de Monterrey have formalized a collaboration agreement to promote and extend international development and understanding through support for educational, professional, and intercultural activities and projects between students, teachers, and administrative staff of both institutions.
Both parties declare their interest in fostering inter-institutional cooperation through the usage of common services and the employability of available structural and human resources. They also seek to establish forms of collaboration that contribute to the achievement of shared objectives in several areas of teaching, research, provision of services, and exchange of scientific, technological, and cultural information.
Specifically, the agreement envisages the following activities:
- Exchange of teaching staff and students for its different academic and extension programs between TEC and the network of higher education institutions that form part of Planeta Formación y Universidades.
- Stay of teachers and researchers for specific periods to give lectures, participate in courses, and the development of common teaching programs.
- Launch a new research between the two organizations.
- Joint programming of academic activities, such as seminars, courses, workshops, and postgraduate programs.
- Promotion of other joint academic activities of mutual interest for the development of each institution.
- The 22 institutions of Planeta Formación and Universities, including EAE Business School, UNIE Universidad, VIU -Universidad Internacional de Valencia- or The Core Entertainment Science School will be able to benefit from this collaboration agreement.
Specifically, the departments of Digital Animation and Industrial Design (LAD and LDI) of the School of Architecture, Art and Design (EAAD) of the TEC de Monterrey and The Core Entertainment Science School, will work together in the coming months on the implementation of a mobility program in audiovisual production programs for undergraduate and Master's students to be launched in the next academic year.

This agreement represents a significant step in the consolidation of the collaboration between Planeta Formación y Universidades and some of the leading educational institutions in Latin America, strengthening the quality of education and the diversity of opportunities for students, teachers, and researchers.
