VIU and Banco Santander reinforce their collaboration agreement to promote international mobility, academic excellence and research

The Universidad Internacional de Valencia - VIU, which belongs to Planeta Formación y Universidades, and Banco Santander have signed this Wednesday an academic collaboration agreement that will benefit a total of 44 students, young researchers and entrepreneurs during 2025 and 2026 with a total contribution of 50,000 euros.

The agreement, ratified at the headquarters of the Universidad Internacional de Valencia-VIU by its rector, Eva María Giner, and the president of Santander Universidades, Matías Rodríguez Inciarte, is based on five strategic axes: Mobility, Study, Research, Employability and Entrepreneurship. With them, both institutions strengthen their alliance to create a joint framework to improve the quality of teaching, the development of continuing education programmes, internationalisation, as well as research excellence and university mobility. In addition, Banco Santander will provide the Universidad Internacional de Valencia with the mobile application AppCrue, developed by the bank in coordination with CRUE Universidades Españolas to optimise university management.
