For the second day of Tomorrow Tastes Mediterranean, the international congress on the Mediterranean Diet, the Barcelona Culinary Hub was once again a key venue for the second day of the event. The kitchens of the Barcelona Culinary Hub were the perfect place to bring together chefs, academics and food lovers from all over the world. The chefs showed in their workshops how to carry out some sustainable practices, such as the reuse of waste in the kitchen, the versatility of oil, the traceability of seafood products and some techniques to enhance their flavour, integrating science and gastronomy.

In addition, the students of the Barcelona Culinary Hub's vocational training courses played an important role in this congress, as they participated in the preparation and development of the workshops hand in hand with the chefs, a valuable professional experience.

The congress, already consolidated as a global benchmark in the promotion of the Mediterranean Diet, is organised by the Torribera Mediterranean Center, a joint initiative of the Universitat de Barcelona and The Culinary Institute of America.
