The Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá and Planeta Formación y Universidades will offer academic programmes for companies
Planeta Formación y Universidades, the Grupo Planeta higher education network, and the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá have reaffirmed their commitment to business training and internationalisation by signing a new strategic collaboration agreement. The main objective of the agreement is to offer businessmen and entrepreneurs in Bogota and Latin America a range of specialised educational services.
The renewal was signed by Ovidio Claros Polanco, Executive President of the CCB, and Andrea Pulido Gómez, General Director of the International Area of Planeta Formación y Universidades.
The aim of this alliance is to establish lines of collaboration so that entrepreneurs and business people can access different services and tools from the hand of Planeta Formación y Universidades and the CCB, generating synergies for the organisation of courses or training sessions.
To achieve this, the agreement includes a job exchange and professional internships, academic collaboration activities, research programmes, closing visits, as well as the use of Planeta Formación y Universidades facilities. It also includes benefits and discounts, publications and reports and participation in the IBERONEX network, an institution that also belongs to Planeta Formación y Universidades.
Through its experience and thanks to its in-depth knowledge of the needs of the Colombian business sector, the CCB will be in charge of offering different training experiences to the people who join the programmes. It will also have the capacity to structure training plans tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs.
Ovidio Claros Polanco, executive president of the CCB, said: ‘This agreement aims to add value to the training opportunities offered by the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá to entrepreneurs, as well as to develop a joint work plan with strategic allies that promotes training, innovation and the strengthening of the business fabric’.
Andrea Pulido Gómez, General Director of the International Area of Planeta Formación y Universidades, highlighted that: ‘This agreement will allow the CCB's entrepreneurs to access a network of specialised services, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, with which they will be able to broaden their knowledge through programmes, access to reports, talks and enriching conferences. This will be possible thanks to specialised human capital with an international perspective and a collaborative approach'.
