Planeta Formación y Universidades participates in the Barbacoding event at La Nave
A group of students from the Máster en Emprendimiento at EAE Madrid, together with colleagues from various universities, participated today in the Barbacoding event, organised by La Nave in collaboration with Planeta Formación y Universidades. The event focused on an innovative challenge whose objective was to rethink the education system of the next five years, under the theme ‘Personalisation of University Learning with AI’.
The challenge was to design an adaptive learning model that fosters educational efficiency by incorporating practical simulations. Students worked in groups to create visual prototypes representing the classroom of the future, integrating artificial intelligence, advanced technology and interaction with teachers' skills.
Santiago Tobón, a lecturer in the Entrepreneurship area of Planeta Formación y Universidades, noted that the challenge not only fostered creativity and the generation of innovative ideas, but also allowed participants to apply a structured approach to real educational problems, while developing key skills such as collaboration and effective communication.
Once the prototypes were finalised, the groups presented their proposals to a jury composed of experts from Planeta Formación y Universidades and 4geeksAcademy. The winning project was a vocational AI application that uses students' preferences, interests and concerns to improve their academic performance, personalising the learning process according to their individual characteristics.
This event reaffirms the commitment of higher education to adapt to developments.
