Success at the first UNIE Networking Day
UNIE Universidad, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, organised the UNIE Networking Day this past Thursday, 20th February—an event that brought together leading companies from various sectors with students and alumni of the university. A day dedicated to establishing connections, conversations, and learning through masterclasses and one-to-one meetings, serving as a platform for professional exchange. More than 30 companies participated in the UNIE Networking Day, bringing the professional world and the latest trends closer to undergraduate, postgraduate students, and alumni.
Attendees had the valuable opportunity to attend masterclasses delivered by experts from some of the participating companies. These included: "Current and Future Market Trends", presented by Natalia Pastor from Universia; "The Ayuntamiento de Madrid as a Future Career Option for Top Talent—Are You In?", by Daniel Mestre Cañón from the Department of Resources and Legal Reports at Madrid Talento; and "Telefónica España, a Space for Talent", featuring Alba Fernández from Talent Acquisition and Sergio de la Calle from Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding.
The second part of the UNIE Networking Day will take place on the 25th and 26th of February, featuring Speed Meetings—unique opportunities to learn about collaborative programmes, professional internships, and joint projects.
The event, organised by the UNIE Universidad Professional Careers Department, has provided tools to enhance skills for the job market, engage with leading companies, and create spaces to share key trends and insights.
