‘Detrás del éxito’, the original format of Planeta Formación y Universidades that traces the entrepreneurial path of its alumni
With the firm purpose of supporting and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs, ‘Detrás del Éxito’ (Behind Success) is born, an original format by Planeta Formación and Universidades. The initiative focuses on the projects of young talents that began as a start-up, until they became a reality.
Each episode of ‘Detrás del éxito’ will present the story of an entrepreneurial project linked to one of our institutions. We will discover how, through resources and support programmes for startups, it is possible to evolve from a simple idea to an operational phase.
All this, through academic accompaniment, strategic support, access to up-to-date resources linked to the world of work, as well as direct contact with a global network of experts and mentors. Essential tools to guarantee the success of these young people and their projects.
Boosting the future of entrepreneurship
‘Detrás del Éxito’ tells the story of alumni from each of our different institutions. We want to discover what inspired them and discover the background. We value the human side of each alumni, achieving inspiring, emotional, close and motivating pieces for our students.
An audiovisual project that was created with the firm objective of inspiring future entrepreneurs and highlighting the support and mentoring, talent and success of the students of the Planeta Formación y Universidades network of institutions.
A loudspeaker for young talent
In this first issue, we get to know DePasada, a startup dedicated to the creation of travel experiences designed by and for women. We will do so accompanied by the voice of Ximena Vargas, its co-founder. Thanks to EAE Business School's mentoring and support programmes, Ximena has been able to transform an idea into a company.
It was born out of her own personal experience during her travels, and she wanted to launch a project with an inclusive approach and a commitment to female empowerment in the tourism sector.
‘The resources provided by EAE Business School, especially its startup incubator, EAE Lab, were key to the development of my project. From the beginning, the institution identified the potential of DePasada and offered me the necessary tools to turn my vision into a solid business model’, says Ximena.
Moreover, as with DePasada and Ximena, support for female talent plays a key role in all of EAE's entrepreneurship initiatives. The institution aims to help women transform their ideas and concepts into real projects.
DePasada has managed to overcome challenges, such as competition in the sector or the travel crisis caused by the pandemic, to position its brand as a benchmark in this niche.
