
‘Professions of the future’, a new episode of Deep Talks
The technological revolution is shaping professional demands and also the needs of the labour market. The development of automation, thanks to artificial intelligence, and also the focus on sustainability, are driving the emergence of new skills and roles yet to be discovered. Therefore, professionals who are able to adapt to the changes are needed.
In this context, Planeta Formación y Universidades has presented a new episode of Deep Talks, the open debate format that periodically analyses different current issues related to the education sector with a multi-specialised and international vision. This fourth episode, entitled "Qué nuevos perfiles demanda el mercado? Las profesiones del futuro", explores, with the help of professionals from the education sector and experts from Planeta Formación y Universidades institutions, how the educational and employment panorama is being redefined. The debate was attended by the educational centres EAE Business School, The Core School, iFP and Sup de Luxe.
The speakers agreed that skills such as critical thinking, creativity and ethics are more necessary than ever, and highlighted the importance of adaptability in both education and employment.
Among the main conclusions of the debate was the importance of preparing the new generations, while the importance of adapting and adapting was highlighted, because jobs are not disappearing, they are transforming. Another central point was the importance of purely human skills. It is essential for academic institutions to encourage critical thinking, creativity and ethics.
